[Part-1] 10 things to ‘really’ understand to become an effective JavaScript developer
I have learned React, Angular, and developing on NodeJS (Server-side javascript developer) using a variety of techniques over time, and if I look back, I would have done it a bit differently. This is how I would go about to start learning the right way.
This is not a series on how to learn a front-end framework or library, but how to be a better JavaScript engineer.
If you learn the below 10 things purposefully before you start your own SPA or NodeJS learning journey, I believe it will pay dividends in not only speeding up the learning curve but also you will learn them on a solid foundation, and that will make you a better front-end engineer.
Here is how we are going to cover this in 3 parts:
There are a great set of blogs, course work, and GitHub projects (this is from my colleague, an awesome front-end engineer, and architect) I look up to when I learn or have questions about, so I will recommend going to them to learn React.
Whether you are going to develop React applications, server-side javascript applications (on NodeJS for example), using TypeScript, using Class-based components or Functional components, let’s first master these 10 things, and be comfortable with the syntax.
